PEEP is delighted to announce that small and medium-sized baby play mats are now for sale. They are ideal for those carrying out PEEP activities with babies, particularly for home visits or home programmes. The baby play mats band can:
Offer a sensory experience through using a range of fabric types, colours and textures; appealing to the youngest child.
Defines a space for PEEP play with a baby at home or in a group.
Provides a comfortable resting space for baby as he/she explores a treasure basket.
Can be used as a play and learning object, i.e. why not use it for a simple hiding game, putting an object underneath? Try putting something noisy under the mat, e.g. bubble wrap, squeaker or scrunchy paper. Or simply use it for a game of Peepo.
The mats can fit into a small space, are lightweight and machine washable. They are made from a variety of fabrics. Please note: the types of fabric may vary between mats.
(Do not allow children to use the mat without adult involvement)
The mats are available made exclusively using black and white fabrics or can be multi-coloured with ribbon loops for attaching toys. The small mats are 64cm in diameter and cost £30 plus P&P. The medium mats are 76cm in diameter and cost £60 plus p&p. |
