Who is it for? This one-day training course is for managers and professional staff who need a working knowledge of PEEP and its Learning Together programme, in order to maximize the potential impact of PEEP on outcomes for families.
What is the content? The course will cover:
• the broad range of PEEP delivery options (outreach, groups, drop-ins; targetted and universal) • supporting your PEEP-trained practitioners to make the most of PEEP delivery • an overview of promoting and planning PEEP delivery • using the PEEP approach to complement other work with families • accreditation pathways open to practitioners delivering the PEEP programme, including City & Guilds (level 3) and university accreditation (undergraduate and masters), and to parents attending PEEP (OCN in England and Wales, SQA/ WEA in Scotland)
All delegates will be given a comprehensive PEEP for Practitioners’ Handbook and free access to our log-in website.
Feedback from a family support co-ordinator "Professionals and PEEP facilitators have noticed how effective PEEP groups have been in accessing families that have previously been perceived to be 'hard to reach'. Luton continues to value the training opportunities, accreditation support and advice they have received from PEEP and value the positive partnership that has developed over the last eight years."
How long is the day? Approx 9am - 4pm.
How do I apply and what is the cost? The cost is £150 + VAT per delegate. For information on our forthcoming events, please see our Dates page.
