*NEW COURSE* Introduction to PEEP Open College Network (OCN) Training
This one-day training course is for practitioners wanting to introduce or already running PEEP Open College Network (OCN) accreditation with their parents. It is an ideal introduction to those who are starting PEEP OCN in their areas and is a welcome refresher for those who are already running such accreditation.
What is the content? The topics covered include: • An introduction to OCN • Planning (OCN year maps) • The different OCN levels (1 and 2) • The administration process including registration • Introducing OCN to parents/carers • Ways to build PEEP OCN into PEEP group sessions. • Supporting adults with their portfolio building • The assessment process • Internal and external verifying

*NEW COURSE* Support Staff Introduction to PEEP Practice, Part I (SSIPP)
Who is it for? This one-day training course is for assistants, volunteers or parent helpers who need a little background knowledge of PEEP as well as how to effectively support practitioners (and parents/carers) in PEEP groups.
What is the content? The topics covered include: • An introduction to PEEP including a look at the PEEP model, vision and mission statements • The PEEP Learning Together programme • Roles and responsibilities in PEEP groups • Challenging situations • PEEP in practice including Circle Time and Talk Time • The importance of songs and rhyme • How best to support parents/carers
How long is the day? The day should run from 9am (gathering just before) and finish around 3.30m.

*NEW COURSE* Managers’ Introduction to PEEP Practice
Who is it for? This one-day training course is for managers and professional staff who need a working knowledge of PEEP and its Learning Together programme in order to feel more confident in rolling PEEP out in their areas and supporting their staff who are delivering to families.
What is the content? The topics covered include: • Explaining how to promote, support and manage PEEP practitioners effectively in their settings. • Giving practical knowledge on how to promote and plan PEEP in settings, including how to plan sessions and providing an awareness of year map links to PEEP. • Giving information on the accreditation pathways open to practitioners delivering the PEEP programme including City & Guilds and Oxford Brookes University opportunities. • Enabling managers to see which staff are best suited to undertake the 2-day PEEP for Practitioner training or other one-day training courses including for support staff and another for those practitioners wanting to run PEEP OCN for parents/carers.
Please note: all delegates will be given a PEEP for Practitioners’ Handbook which includes an introduction and overview, details about core activities and the Learning Together programme, information about music in PEEP and the PEEP model for delivery. Complete details about planning are also provided along with City & Guilds’ accreditation paperwork.
