| Peers Early Education Partnership (PEEP) was set up as a registered charity in 1995 (registered charity number 1049764).
Mission Statement PEEP aims to contribute towards a significant improvement in educational attainment by whole communities of children, from their birth, by working with parents and carers.
From Oxford to nationwide PEEP groups originally started in Blackbird Leys and neighbouring estates in south east Oxford. Groups and home visiting continue to happen here, but the PEEP programme is also being taken up across England, Scotland and Wales through a variety of organisations. The PEEP programme is being offered to families by organisations such as:
· Sure Start and Children’s Centres
· Local authorities (including family learning, health, education, social services)
· Early Start projects
· Family Centres
In response to requests, PEEP started to sell its publications, and provide training and information days - see How - delivering the PEEP programme for further information.
